Paradise Island Hotels & Resorts
Connected to Nassau by two bridges, Paradise Island is 685 acres of unadulterated happiness. Powder-soft beaches, turquoise waters and year-round temperate weather makes this destination excellent for water sports such as water-skiing, parasailing and kite-boarding. Cabbage Beach, a two-mile stretch of palm-lined white sands is a sunbather's haven and perhaps the most popular beach on the island. Nearby, the more isolated Paradise Beach backed by groves of casuarina pines and exotic foliage offers a serene backdrop for vacationers. Developed almost exclusively to delight and entertain visitors, Paradise Island has something for everyone. Offering designer boutiques, gourmet dining and world-class spas and casinos for the discerning traveler, the island is also an excellent choice for families with its impressive waterparks, aquariums and marinas. Other activities include visiting the Versailles Gardens and French Cloister, beautifully manicured gardens set next to a 12th century Augustine monastery, or catching an authentic Bahamian show pulsing with dancing and Junkanoo music. Paradise Island is accessible via Nassau, which is a 35-minute flight from South Florida.
